Once upon a time there existed a girl in a tropical country and a guy in a not-so-tropical country. These 2 were unaware of each other's existence and were leading relatively normal lives. One day, a mutual friend, that is, a friend known to both the guy and the girl decided to introduce them purely based on their cultural similarity. Surely nothing could come of it, mutual friend thought, after all, they live so far from each other! So the guy and the girl were acquainted, speaking occasionally on MSN and making the odd phone call to each other. They both found it equally interesting that two people growing up in such different parts of the world could have so many beliefs, hobbies and interests in common.
She began to develop feelings for him and a small reservation in her heart was placed. She had no serious intentions, but instant attraction captivated her. It did not take long for him to build a similar reservation in his heart for her. He immediately knew he had made a friend, because u do not just walk away from someone as sweet and gentle sounding as her, especially when u had so much in common right from the start.
After a period of social inactivity due to exams and other matters, they began to talk again, using MSN and webcam to keep in touch. She would always hate turning on her webcam because she figured she did not look like the beauty queen he thought she was. Her excuses were lengthy, however he would have no part of that and made her show herself on what became a daily basis. He was always so impressed with her sharp looks with intelligence to match. Also, she looked damn good in dress shirts. For whatever strange reason, she thought he looked good too, and their mutual appreciation grew into daily phone calls and online chat sessions. Although yet to meet in the physical, these two crazy kids had sparked something fantastic.
As their reservations within their hearts grew into whole-hearted feelings, they both realized an in-person meeting was in order..and soon. On one September 19th, 2004, they expressed their budding love for each other, implying a declaration of themselves as a couple.
Over 11 months passed by, with daily emails, phone calls, internet conversations.. there was no stopping these two lovebirds. Birds they were, however none had the opportunity to use their wings to fly over to the other, until this past weekend. She had given him the news of a visit a few weeks prior to, and to this news, he had never been so excited in his life. His darling, the love of his life, was coming to visit him!
So she came and was greeted at the airport with a warm smile, a rose and a warmer hug, plus a few choice words which warmed her heart further. She seemed shy, for never had she been in love before, and never had she seen this guy whom she had been dreaming about meeting for almost a year. He sensed this and tried to make the situation comfortable for her with cheesy trance music jokes and the like. (Being from a tropical country and all, soca was obviously her choice of music). He knew a shy girl was not the girl he had come to know over the past year and a half, and was determined to bring out the woman he was in love with. Later that night that chance came and their first kiss was of epic proportions. It was a moment neither of them will ever forget, being sweet, sugary and salty all at once! They went on to have a fabulous weekend together, the best weekend of their lives infact, getting to know each other in person, and realizing that instead of just one, they made each other feel like a 'shilling and a half' ;). They knew this could only be right, it felt so natural, and so good on the body, mind and soul. If this is indeed what love is about, then these two fit the definition to perfection.
Now she has gone back to her tropical paradise, bearing his heart in her hands, and he remains in his, bearing her life in his hands - awaiting their next meeting with the same solid patience, commitment and drive that brought them together in the first place.
Until the next meeting this is only,
The beginning..

this is an offical warning to mr kiran lad.i think u shud leave the butterfly conservatory alone. what u did that day was very obscene and unheard of. because of ur vulgar activites many butterflies are now paralysed and blind, some have even died, and my eyes have turned from red to green. if u continue 2 visit the conservatory to perform such activites, i'm afraid we will have to ban you from visiting niagara falls.
thank you
